Plan Wild Designs - Welcome Message

Just getting started with a new blog, so please bear with me as I navigate the newness.  (I have like 9 other blogs, so it isn't a new experience to say the least, but still - you know how it is looking at a blank piece of paper, right?  Same Same)

This blog will be for posting informational, inspirational, leadership, planning, teamwork, accountability and some personal thoughts.  Follow along if you like - I am always encouraging comments and would love to have your feedback if you are here reading.

Let's dig in!

In my journey of planning my wild life, I have had been down the road paved with sticky notes and lots of crumpled paper.  Tons of new docs created on my computer and set aside for another time...well the time needs to be NOW.  So I am finally committing to blogging on a regular basis.  I have set myself a goal to blog daily, but we will see how far that takes us.  Who knows, maybe it will be daily!  Maybe it will be weekly or maybe it will even be twice a day. I guess we will see how this plays out.  I have a lot of things in my head that I would like to get organized in one place and this seems like a great place to get started.  If you are here with me, thanks for joining me on this journey.  I hope I can inspire you to work smarter not harder, and I hope I can give you ideas to make your life plan more exciting and productive.

I'll be posting from time-to-time photos of my plan (before the ink for the most part) and just so everyone knows, right now here is how I do it.  The tools of my planning trade are currently my MAMBI Happy Planner Classic, Excel, Word, and a three-part white-board system I have on the walls in my office.  I'll try to get into details with all of that in coming days & weeks & months, but I'm just wanting to lay the foundation of what I am currently using and how it is keeping me accountable to me and how I am able to stay motivated in a self-start, stand-alone, work-from-home-by-my-self, answer-to-me business.

You are very likely to see some silly, some creative, some serious, some organization, some encouragement, some business tips, some planning (and when I say planning, I mean multiple types of planning), and tons more.

I will elaborate a little on the planning, since, after all ... the name of this blog IS 'Plan Wild Designs"

Some of my posts will be wordy and some will be short-but-sweet and you can very likely expect to see lots of photos or be directed through links to my other projects.

A little about me
My name is Becca, I'm a self-diagnosed computer nerd and planner geek,  I am an Arizona Girl who lived in Alaska who moved back to Arizona and who misses Alaska with every breath I take.  I am torn, I love both my homes, but wish I could live in both places at once.  Well, maybe I will work that out someday - that will have to go onto my vision board...we will talk more about this later too.  Oh my goodness so many teasers - this is going to be quite the journey.

Again, thank you for joining me and please be sure to follow me, comment, visit me on Instagram and follow me there too - give me a comment to let me know you are following so I can follow you back as well.  Let's network and grow together.

This is the business that I do my planning for!  I am proud to say that on June 1, 2017 we celebrated Seven Years in Business with Land of Wild Designs Photography.  It has been an absolute joy and honor to photograph the most beautiful people I have ever seen.  And it is truthful to say that we are looking forward to photographing many many many more in the next 30 or 40 years if we are blessed to still be doing this wonderful thing that we love so very much!  And since I am linking stuff, might as well go ahead and link the website, blog and facebook and YouTube for Land of Wild Designs as well.
